The importance of glue viscosity in dry lamination

the viscosity of glue is an important technology target in dry lamination.
elements influence glue viscosity:

1. The temperature of environment. Environment temperature has significant impact on glue viscosity, for glue in same density, the higher the temperature, the lower the viscosity.

2. The density of glue mixing. The higher the glue mixing density, the higher the viscosity.

3. Natural instinct of glue. Glue in the same company with different brands has different viscosity in same density, Because its composition process  conditions are different, the initial viscosity out factory also different.

4. Evaporation of the solvent. Solvent evaporation influenced by factors as temperature, humidity, contact area between glue and air and air activities
around glue tank.

The viscosity of glue is an important technology target in dry lamination, highly attention need to be paid.

Methods to control glue viscosity

1. Control the temperature and moisture of environment.

2. Control air circulation around glue barrel and glue tank.

3. Control the touch area between glue in barrel and tank with air.

4. Equip glue viscosity control system for coating unit.

5. Equip special solvent buckets for glue tank, making up for the solvent in the glue tank regularly or constantly.

After adopt methods above, it's necessary to measure glue viscosity, in order to know the effectiveness of the adopted measures,
Timely adjust and make up for the solvent.
